Ardlethan (/ɑːrdˈliːθən/, locally [aːdˈliːθən]) is a small service town in the Coolamon Shire in New South Wales, Australia. Ardlethan is at the intersection of the Burley Griffin Way and Newell Highway. At the 2011 census Ardlethan had a population of 364 people. The 2015 census showed Ardlethan to be growing at a rate not seen since the 1890s, becoming a hub for service training including nurses and paramedics.
Ardlethan lays claim to be the birthplace of the Australian kelpie.
