Huskisson is a thriving tourist and fishing town lying in the curve of Jervis Bay. It is the main shopping and accommodation centre on the bay, just 24 kilometres south-east of Nowra. A popular destination for families, catamaran sailors, windsurfers, fishers and divers, Huskisson provides easy access to the beautiful clear waters of the Bay and all facilities. To the south, the clear water and brilliant white sands of Vincentia's beaches provide idyllic places for total relaxation. Those interested in the history of boat-building should visit the Lady Denman Heritage Complex in Huskisson. The Lady Denman, a Sydney Harbour ferry built at Huskisson and launched in 1911, has returned to her birthplace as the centrepiece of the museum.
