With the Whereis® API you can:

  • create maps centred on any location in Australia
  • access aerial and satellite imagery across Australia (with or without street labels)
  • use standard Whereis® map navigation tools (zoom and panning) or create your own
  • add map markers to the map
  • create route maps and turn-by-turn directions between addresses
  • generate lists of potential destinations, ranked in order of travel distance from the nominated street address
  • perform geo-coding (i.e. convert a street address to latitude and longitude coordinates)
  • perform reverse geo-coding
  • search thousands of UBD points of interest (POI) nationwide

In turn, your customers can:

  • locate your nearest store (could be as simple as entering a suburb)
  • get turn-by-turn directions to your nearest store by entering their street address
  • interact with your maps according to their needs using zoom and panning tools

The Whereis® API is a professional, easy-to-use, business-grade mapping platform that is updated every six weeks through the GeoFresh™ program.
