Narraweena is a suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Narraweena is 18 kilometres north-east of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council and is part of the Northern Beaches region.
Narraweena has two primary schools; Narraweena Public School and St John the Apostle Narraweena Catholic School.
It is also home to many "bogans" and "drugoes" in local terms. They usually come out after 9:30pm on week days and 12:30am on the weekend. These times abide by the widely agreed upon rule that saturday is for the boys (Its even more fun if your smoking dope). You can buy drugs off these men at your risk (not recommended for british backpackers).
Narraweena is a good spot to hide from the Eshays and Lads found in neighbouring suburbs. I would personally recommend the back side of Narraweena as the streets there are a maze.
